In our latest episode “Walleyes on Plastics” the team utilized a casting presentation with Jigs and Plastics.
Our fish in this episode were caught on two different style plastics from B Fish N Tackle Co. Andy Fiolka set up using the B Fish N Tackle Co. 4″ Moxi in Orange Chartreuse. James always likes to fish a slightly different bait than the other angler in his boat, and he set up a presentation using the B Fish N Tackle Co. 3.25″ Chartreuse Orange Core. Both James and Andy were utilizing 1/8th oz. VMC Moon Eye.
We fished these plastics just as we would twitching a jerk bait, or a floating Rapala like you would for Smallmouth or Walleye. Cast, twitch it, pause, sink, bring it forward, twitch it, pause. This essentially looks like a smaller profile stick bait, and is a wonderful solution to lethargic fish.
