anyone know when the suckers are gonna start biting in central Minnesota?
They’ve been in the creeks of Southern MN/Western WI for close to 3 weeks. The best bite is likely in the rear view mirror in this area.
Me and another fellow IDOer have been really striking out this year in the north metro.
The bullheads are biting at least.
All the suckers in catching now are spawned out females they were prime a week or so ago
Sounds like it should be time up north then. I will be checking my spot this weekend.
Barley started up where I fish them on the Namekagon. Not even worth fishing them yet. Hoping by this weekend. I did score a huge redhorse which always start first where I fish.
Crushed them two weeks ago on the Des Moines river in SW MN. Nice 10-15″rs
I got flooded out of my usual spot on the rum south of Princeton, hopefully this rain stops so I can get a few more for the smoker
