Just wanted to check in and report on the SM LF drilling frozen ice holes. I drilled several different holes with the LF and it did great. I drilled both 8 + 10″ holes, in different states of re-freeze ranging from 1″ – 4″. No problem at all. Couldn’t tell they were old holes. From what I saw, there shouldn’t be a problem with thicker ice, but I plan on retesting once we get more ice here in Maine. I have a short video on my YouTube channel if you want to see the footage.
