Any luck with colored line on small streams?

    Hey all has any one had any luck on any of the small farm streams with colored line i haven’t

    Slim, I use smoke fireline for trout fishing all the time.( I have never tried fluorescent fireline for trout though.) I’ve fished with people using clear mono and it doesn’t seem that they get any more bites than I do.

    I have had the same results birdman….I use stren Hi Vis yellow line for trout fishing…an i have been with people using clear line an they havent caught anymore fish than i have..

    Well I had used Stren Hi-vis gold to on the opener and had two bites the same day took and put on my clear line spool and I caught my limit of brookies 10In and over.

    maybe you should have had something tied onto the end of your line like a hook or something
