Fished Whiteface just north of island and did well. We fished humps that were close to shore with jigs and minnows. The lighter the jig the better. Bring lots of jigs the reservoirs like to takem.

Are fatheads ok or are shiners a better choice? I have plenty of jigs. What depth did you have your best luck? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

Fatheads and rainbows worked equally as well. Low light they were on top of the humps 3ft. Day bite was 7-11ft.

Stop in to Chalstroms bait. They have a good finger on the pulse in the area (they do the Duluth area report in outdoor news) and are super cool. Right on your way out there too.
