Star Lake MN

    Has anyone had any luck on Star lake near DL? I’m planning to go there in the near future. Any advice appreciated!

    I’ve fished it a couple of times-its a nice lake-good sized ‘gills, crappies are good sized if you can find them. I’ve never ice fished the lake but if I did I would go after the tullies, the numbers are very good. A lake like Star would get 2x the pressure if it were in Brainerd.

    I fish it often in the summer and a few times every winter. Good panfish and as Tim said tulibees are plentiful …. just have to figure which deep area they are in. Keep in mind the sunfish limit is only ten. Good Luck
