Springtime Spillway/Creek Fishing…(surprise catch!)

I was looking for somewhere to go and catch something different than trout so I googled different areas looking for a warm water discharge somewhere near my area to get on some bass fishing and maybe a stray northern pike or catfish that might have gotten over the dam and shot out through the spillway! I found an old post from a while back of a guy catching a 4lb largemouth in the area
And I wanted to go fishing that evening so I said to heck with it and drove to the area to check it out! After my brief hike through some thick brush to the bottom of the ravine, I found the stream and slid in and to my surprise, the first fish I caught was a ……..
