CAN I GET ON THE ICE OR IS IT TOAST AFTER ALL THAT RAIN AND HOW MUCH OPEN WATER IS THERE AROUND THE SHORE I HAD TO HAVE A 10′ PLANK LAST YEAR TO GET ON BUT THE ICE WAS STILL 12″ THICK

I see you are from IA – where is it you want to go? I drove by Clear Lake yesterday, edges were gone on the small lake, but middle looked fine if you can get there. I have one small pit I am still fishing because so far, ice is doing fine. It was 27 degrees this morning.
