    Anise is the additive that makes black liquorice taste like it does. Garlic added to livers and set in the sun to harden up some for a day really does make a big diffrence. Anise is also used in makeing trapping scent but it brings in everything includeing skunks and possums. I think just about every animal and fish can smell both really well.

    Go to your local pharmacy and get a 4 oz. bottle of Cod Liver Oil. 100% pure fish product that is immusifiable meaning fish can smell it in spite of being an oil. Its 100% biodegradeable and is 100% safe for you and the environment. Plus, if you eat too many cheese curds you can take a swig and it’ll help things along.
