Smallie’s on whitefish chain?

Hey fellow bass slayer’s! headin to whitefish chain in a few days. Any idea’s where to start lookin for smallies?

I haven’t fished there for over 15 years, since my parents sold the lake place. Trout Lake is where I caught them back then. I am sure the Whitefish sections have them as well. But who knows now, that was a long time ago. Don’t forget about the largemouths. There were some pigs in that chain. I had good luck in Cross Lake and Little Pine.

THere are some huge largemouth in that lake but i have found a lot of the smallies on the main lake on humps.
