You just have to ask if that walleye in his avatar is from his home water.

It has a very nice hue to it. whistling

How would we know what his home water is? He lists nothing in his profile as to where he is from?

    Google “greenback eyes”.

    Really beautiful fish.

I think he is implying a Winnipeg greenback, but given hints on other threads I think they are headed to a new location so Winnipeg would be out but who knows. I’m just hoping they are all 100% and ready to fish and not pushing their recovery faster than necessary the flu has hit hard this year.

Yes, Winnipeg came to mind right away, but the pic in Y2ba’s profile looks more gold?

I dunno, hopefully watching this Sunday in the Red Door motel room before breakfast at the Waypoint. peace

That’s an Erie walleye and I’m from Michigan! Erie isn’t my home lake though. Let’s hope the bite was as hot for them the last two days as it was for myself and a few friends.

St. Clair gets my guess. There has been a pretty good Walleye bite out there lately.
