Found these two dead bucks while mushrooming last night. My little brother (pictured) found the nice one, I found the little guy. Only 1+ lb of mushrooms. Both bucks were found on state land. I would have much rather found the sheds, though.

Nice finds… Too bad both died. The bigger one would have been a dandy this fall.
That’s really too bad! I wonder what happened to them? Maybe the local gene pool over there lacks crucial survival skills. Get Bear Grylls in there!

It makes me sick everytime I see a nice buck dead like that.
I live for bowhunting big whitetails and I can’t think of anything worse to find in the woods than a big dead buck. Hopefully he spread his genes well!

that always hurts. sorry they didnt stick around for an arrow this fall.
