Ive been having pretty good luck with crappies in shallow water in channels that connect lakes. In less than 5 feet. Some days they bite good and some days its very slow. Does the barometer pressure or temp or what the sky looks like have a factor in how well they bite?

I usually do not have luck with crappies that shallow this time of the year. This said, I think a lot could effect them. A little less wind…. and sunlight would be two factors I’d think of. Is there flow in these channels? Sounds like a fun bite.

When there is wind but when wind calms down in evening the bite is good or very slow depending on weather and other factors
