SeaStar HC5345 Cylinder leak?

Today was pretty warm so I decided to take the boat out of the garage and start getting it ready to hit the river. While going through a few things, I noticed my Seastar steering cylinder has a pretty substantial leak out of both sides. It’s model #HC5345

I purchased this boat brand new last summer. To make a long story short, everything was brand new less than a year ago. What would cause this, is it covered by warranty, and is it normal for the seals to fail in such short time? This is my 3rd boat with Seastar hydraulic steering and the other 2 never had a leak.

I keep this boat spotless clean at all times, stored in a semi heated garage, and it worked fine last fall.

A little bummed because I was going to take it out fishing tomorrow. If it was a small leak, I still probably would. I turn the steering wheel and can watch it drip as I turn it.

    Anyone have any insight?
    Thanks in advance.
