Trolling for lakers in Canadian lakes

    What is your favorite spoon/bait to troll for big and deep Canadian Lakers? I’m thinking to start with blue/silver little Cleo’s.

    Single best pattern, Len thompson flame and white coho pattern. Outfishes other colors 5 to 1. Crocodile gold/orange as #2.

    Every lake is different and the color changes as the water warms and the fish go deeper. Hatches and spawning patterns also affect what they are feeding which has an impact on what you use.
