    Not very sportsman like…IMHO. Not something I’d enjoy or engage in.

    Probably be fun for 2 or 3 fish. If they’re that thick don’t they bite conventional lures/jigs?

    Pink salmon will readily hit a smaller pink colored spoon. We have caught them until our arms were tired. Where we were fishing in Alaska snagging was not legal.

    in valdez snagging is very legal. It is a very well know method in Alaska, used for years. Also, this is for subsistence.
