    It’s with a heavy heart, I say goodbye to my uncle David Andersen. Never met a man who loved fishing any more than him. And not only loved it, but not many better at it than him either. May you R.I.P….

    Not only one of the GREATS on the water but surely one of the BEST off the water as well. Will be missed by MANY….

    Yes…. he placed 26th last week in the NWT finals…

    He was in a car accident. The news report said its believed that he suffered a medical condition before crashing.

    Dave had a great year this year finishing 4th in the Cabela’s NWT Angler of the year. Dave was also truly a class act.

    If you’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and talk with Dave you would know he was as genuine and nice as they get. Dave will surely be missed by many including myself.

    My heart goes out to the Andersen family.
