Today a buddy of mine and I went fishing for catfish in Thailand. We used 10″ Walking Catfish for bait. I connected first with this 8 lber.

My buddy caught this 7 lber.

And then they got bigger when I got this 9 lber.

My buddy then hooked up with the biggest one of the day but he lost it during the battle.

That dorsal fin is tres kewel… all those rays in the dorsal fin on a cat is pretty interesting to a guy used to bullheads, flats and channels.

The other cool thing I notice (other than the coloration) is the length of those main whiskers! Holy crap! You guys should be measuring the whisker-span vs length and girth on those things. Crazy cool!

The coloration is like a blue cat that got a sunburn on it’s tail and fins… it’s just plain beautiful.

Thanks for being our own private National Geographic/Hooked/River Monsters, etc.

As always I actively look for your posts because they’re so much fun.
