Spring Suckers

    The Spring is my favorite time to catch quality Redhorse. This past weekend I spent much time out chasing them. The bite is slow but picking up fast with the weather we are having.

    I posted a recipe for smoked sucker that is truly the best fish I have tasted smoked. I like the Shorthead Redhorse the best. Only keeping the suckers under 3 pounds is the rule I use for myself.

    Aaron my friend and I will probably be trying out making your smoked sucker here too this spring. Looks easy enough.
