Unless you work at a pet shop.
I’m not asking if you did, but is it legal to re-release a goldfish if you catch one?

October 22, 2012 at 1:29 pm #1106662Cool! I seem to remember Ralph Wiggum caught a huge sunfish somewhere in the metro a few years back.
Wonder how much it has grown since being released?

Bait.
October 23, 2012 at 7:04 pm #1106942Cool catch! Tough to keep the micro-sized sunfish away from your bait long enough to catch a goldfish there.
October 23, 2012 at 8:57 pm #1106961hey TCcat! looks like we should open a pet shop
what did you catch yours on?
I used corn but pretty hard to get through the millions of sunfish huh!cool catch
October 24, 2012 at 2:29 am #1107026Caught with power-bait. You guys are 100% correct about the mini gills ruining the party, this is the first goldfish i’ve caught in this particular lake. Coley, I used to catch lots in your spot before the winter kill. Rumor has it they work great for cats.

I know you were saddened to see that fish die, Mike, but he/she had no business being in that pond.October 25, 2012 at 11:32 pm #1107656What are you talking about, I am laughing? I also made a joke about you catching releasing an arrow shot fish.
October 26, 2012 at 1:02 am #1107675Ryan (Wiggum)? His was either Twin or Crystal lake, if I remember right.

Whose private pond was it?
It’s either me or the raccoons that’ll get ’em!!!October 26, 2012 at 11:47 am #1107724Quote:

Nope. It was in Crystal, though! Really, just some little ponds in Bassett Creek park. There are a lot of carp and a good amount of goldies in them.
