Rod sock trick

Are you tired off watching your trolling motor wires getting stretched tight in your MinnKota unit? I installed a rod sleeve around my 72″ Ulterra wires and they now stay straight and go up and down perfectly. I used to have a ball of wires either at the top or bottom – no more!

Can also buy an entire roll of the stuff for about the price of one or two rod slicks.
    Just search “Braided Wire Loom”
There is also a split braided loom with velcro and zipper closures that works great for controlling wiring while still allowing access to work-on/add/remove wiring.

I feel like I’m in a infomercial! I guess I never noticed? I did notice that my terrova needs a stabilizer tho, so I am working on that solution.
