Got out for a couple of hours on Tueday and was able to catch several nice crappie. Was fishing in 10-14 feet of water trolling very slow using a good old mini-mite tipped with a waxie. It was not fast and furious but did catch 6 over 9 inches and also a couple of nice bluegill. All were released to be caught another day. Was a very nice day to be out as is any day.

    Good day indeed!
Are the water levels coming back down to normal yet?

No the water was still quite high. I noticed several boats on lifts the the water was up to the bottom and a couple of them were almost floating. Was very muddy as well which surpised me that the fishing was decent.

Last I heard you could eat one meal per week out of there. I have eaten some fish out of there with no problems. I am just the only one at my house who eats fish so most are let go.
