Ron and I made our first trip of the open water season to Lake Zumbro today. The water is up slightly and a bit stained, but very fishable. The fish were deep, from 17 to 28 FOW. It took a little patience to get a mini-mite down that deep, but that is what the fish wanted. Best color was clear sparkle tipped with a waxie. Sure was great to be back out in the boat!
