Didn’t really know where to post this. There is 4 inches of solid ice and about an inch of white ice. Was there Wenesday and today. Real good sunfish bite, lot of small ones, but had some in the 9 inch range. Wenesday the the guys with tip ups where having a field day. Did’nt see real big fish, lot of 2-4lb. northerns and a lot of bass.
Today, not much on tip ups but the sunfish were nuts. Could’nt belive it, one guy was out there on a snowmobile. Running all over. If you have never been on Bartlett follow the trails. It is very deep and there are a lot of springs. Good luck

Art, when my daughter was attending Saint Mary’s College in Winona, would come down every other weekend. She and her mother would go shopping and yes, I would hit Bartlett during the winter months. Got lots of nice gills along the runway and crappies out in the deep water.
Haven’t been there in years, but was great to hear your report and brought back memories.
    Thanks.
