I know this has been done before but I wasn’t paying attention, can any one recommend a good reel repair outfit? Thanks.

Many of us used John’s Reel Repair for many years, but John recently passed away. You may be thinking of him.
I have never used then but was told that Wayzata Bait repairs reels. Also, try calling Vado’s Bait. At minimum you could most likely get a lead after the call.

Will they do carbon drag replacements also?
Would love to get that done on a lot of my gear

I don’t want to speak for them, but it’s any easy swap out, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t. I’ve done a lot of mine myself.
June 25, 2015 at 3:22 pm #1551896We have a lot of those Carbontex drag washers in stock if you need some. We can ship them down for just a few bucks for shipping.
