I received an email Christmas card from Stu’s this morning.
These were caught and release yesterday.
I’m still wondering why they are called Green Backs…shouldn’t they be called Red Backs?

Brian, what town is this near I used to fish the Red back in college and pulled some pretty dandies out. But my buddies Dad pulled some absolute PIGS 9-11 lbs. out of there. This was and still is kind of a secret where I was fishing. Glad to see people pulling some n ice fish out of there yet. Thanks for the pics!
Stu’s is about 20 minutes North of Winnepeg, in a town called Lockport.
They’ve had a awesome fall and it’s continuing into the ice months for their “little” Green Backs.
I’m just amazed that the big cats haven’t eaten all the eyes out of there yet!
