I am heading up to Red Lake this weekend. They are telling me that they are going to allow up to 1/2 tons vehicles out on the road.
I have a 2014 Suburban, I am not sure if it is rated as a 1/2 ton or not. I have learned what the rating means now, but I can’t find anything specific to my rig.
    Looking for some help.
    Thanks

Was kind of planning on leaving it on shore, still wanted to figure out the rating question.

You have a half ton suburban. Ball park of 5800 lbs. My half ton dodge is 4800 lbs. Both close ball parks. I wouldn’t suggest going out of hillmans. I would suggest jrs or westwind

I am booked out of West Wind.
I asked them about the suburban, they reply with the 1/2 ton limit.
