    GOD has blessed our trips so far everyone has caught a limit.. WE HAVE NO ICE GUIDING DATES LEFT THIS YEAR THEY ARE ALL FILLED !!!!

    FEELS GREAT TO GET BACK TO THE Mississippi. BASS DERBYS All over the country for last 15 or so years has been a hoot. But I started fishing on Pool 8 and 9 64 years ago and missing ice fishing so many of those 15 years was tough. Fortunately I have been up here for open water a good part of the summers.

    The Island Outdoors derby was last weekend on 7, 8 & 9. I fished 7 and didn’t do so hot, managed 1 11″ and a few 9’s. Some of the sizes that were entered for Perch were awesome and my guess is they came from 8. I think the biggest was 14.75″…
