Wow, what a mess the main channel is today. The river in this neck of the woods is flooding and will not crest until Tuesday. Lots of debris. Heading to one of the sand pits was like an obstacle course. Caught a couple of white bass and 1 small eye early morning on cranks. Switched to bottom bouncer with crawler harness mid morning. Mr. sheephead was the first boated on the crawler. Did manage to get 1 nice 24 inch eye. Sorry no pics, took a quick measurement and released her.

Wow, you went out in that mess?!?! I went and looked at the river in Albany on Sunday and decided quickly it was a good day to watch a ball game. I’ve never seen current that fast on this pool. Trees, water heaters, large patches of weeds that looked like floating islands… it was UGLY!
