Where can a guy go on the river, off shore, and soak some suckers to catch some big northerns? Are there any spots on the Minnesota side that one may recommend to me? Back in college, when I was at LaCrosse, we had fun doing this in the spring by the Onalaska spillway and pulled in some beautiful pike after the spawn, but I hear a lot about this late summer fishing too. Any advice would be great.
