Oahe in May!

    I am heading out to Oahe on the 1st weekend of May and am looking for information. As you know it is a HELL of a huge lake so I need LOTSA advice…hopefully good!

    Try trolling taildancers on a 3 way with a big long whippy trolling rod. Be careful of the deadheads (I don’t mean Jerry Garcia fans). These deadheads can remove your skeg if you hit one. Also remember to bring your wave wackers!!!!!!

    Make sure your bilge pump works. Have a drift sock. Marine band radio to keep up with the weather. wind especially!!
