What is the best thing to use for getting pine sap off of my truck paint and windshield safely?

    Margarine would be healthier.

If butter works sure sounds safer than what I use. Either Isopropyl or rem-oil. I mostly just use iso.

My wife insists on parking under some big red pines at work. I use bug and tar remover, it doesn’t do too good. Once it gets baked on, it is hard as super glue.

WD-40 works good. Wipe it clean with water and vinegar afterwards. I always will wax the car after doing any sap removal to help protect the paint.

Let us know how it works. I saw it on TV but haven’t had a chance to try it myself.
