Looking to take a couple buddies who have never fished the lake before this weekend. Does anyone know what would be a good area to start looking for jumbos at? North? South? East? West? Depth? I’m planning on drilling a ton of holes but I just want to get an area to try out.
I’ve only seen one report of multiple jumbo’s and I think it was out of Isle bay. I’ve been up twice and got one jumbo each time, once on the north end in like 18′ and the other on the mud. Be interested to hear if you can find em, good luck!
It will be hard to target jumbos not like it used to be. They are far and few between. When you get one it will be nice.
