Think I might try Osakis this coming weekend. Can anybody tell me how you have been doing?

    Thanks

The eye bite continues to be good during lowlight. Try Bananna and three mile bar. The sunfish just started to pick up. My best bet for eyes during the day is running spinners. Good luck.

I have not been on Osakis since August. I may hit it this weekend though.

Fished Osakis Friday & Saturday. The eye bite was non-existant for me. The crappie and gill action is heating up though. For crappies I had the best success on drop-shot rigs in depths of 16 to 22 ft. 1.5 to 2 ft off the bottom worked best. Look for pods of baitfish and crappies are not far off.

Just a heads-up – I’m from Osakis, and my Dad lives there & fishes the area a lot, so if anyone is looking for info on Osakis or an area lake (Smith, Maple, Geneva, Victoria, Ida, Carlos, etc.) just let me know.
