Well the season came in went in one day for me. I know he isn’t a giant by any means, but the body alone confirmed this was a mature deer. My buddy who invited me to hunt in SE MN has strict rules on his property. 150 or better, but eight pointers are fair game…as I am exiting the truck he says there is a real dandy eight hanging by the food plot I am headed to. Turns out, this was the little one, not the one he was referring to. I was fine with that, the body of the deer was huge, the rack has some pretty hefty mass to it. I made a perfect shot, heart shot, deer didn’t go far and a blind man could have followed the blood trail. Now it’s time for fall walleyes, good luck to all you guys in the stand, hope the season is a great one!

Terrific, big-bodied deer. Look at the shoulders on that one. He’s been eating well.
Good work! Very nice buck.
PS: How do you like your KUIU clothing?
