Fishing Report 2-17-07

Well we went out again today at about 8 am and fished the same spot my dad has been fishing the last week…while I was at college. This morning was horrible…no fish moving even. This afternnon the gills started moving around 12 and ended up at 5:30 with 32 gills and crappies. Threw a few back but most were nice 8 inchers and up. We got 3 over 9 and one that was right on the 10 1/4 mark(gills). The bite was extremely tough and it paid off changing the jigs until we found something that worked. I know someone will say this is a horrible post b/c I didn’t say where, what, how….but we worked hard to find these fish and I am not about to just let everyone fish them. Just wanted to let everyone know they are biting.
