    3 more hours and we are off to the great south west for some badly needed wiper action I need my fix There’s going to be feathers-a-fly’n this weekend

    Only the hardest fighting fresh water fish there is. It’s a hybrid cross between a white bass and a striper and has to be the next best thing since sliced bread

    Once you go wiper, you will never look at life the same. They are expensive to stock but they are something else to catch.

    Drop a bowling ball in the bath tub and thats what a topwater strike looks like then take your bass rod and tie the line to the neighbors pitbull and that is the fight.They can tear up more than most saltwater fish.They will hit a 5″ topwater and blow it off the water.They will eat 1/4# shad and alewive whole in one strike.AWESOME FISH…

    Here ya go Chappy. This is a Wiper. You’ve got white bass up on the Mississippi (some of you call them stripers but they are whites). These are a white crossed with a Striper.

    Zach and Ben, Looking forward to many reports on the Wiper fishing from here on out.

    I was out on Swanson this mornig and caught some nice whites, one good wiper and I lost a monter. Going to go up to Willow this after noon.

    That next weekend we caught 10 or more that were bigger than that fish None that big this weekend but I will get a report up soon.

    Theres no wipers in red willow. They have all been caught and are long gone!!! .
