went out last nite (fri) and found 3 gray morels and I only checked a couple trees.
I left them for my niece and nephew to find, I would think if we get the heat on sunday
we should be getn enough for a pan full. Asparagus and morels is my fav. pic is last year

@bigpike: They are around here, just not in the numbers I was spoiled by in my last home area…want to get out looking sometime? I’ve struggled hard since moving out of the “elm belt”.
I have had Very little luck finding them in the Eau Claire-Menomonie through the yrs also..
