I am going to be up there the weekend of July 17th and I am looking for some advice. A friend of mine has a place up there but doesn’t fish much. I know it is clear, and I know there is a fair amount of boat traffic. Plan is to pull crawler harnesses with bottom bouncers. Do we have any shot at catching some eyes during the day? Or is this really strictly a sunup sundown bite. Are there better techniques to try during the day. I hate getting up early

Have had luck with slow death amongst those area lakes. Always during the day, makes it fun too since you will catch anything that swims in the lake.

I like the stay out all night approach not sure if the other guys will though. The other question, is this lake a prop buster? Northeast Iowa doesn’t really have lakes all we have is the River, with channel markers. Trying to get some info from the guy that weekends there, but not getting much.
