DP…we definately had a blast and a memorable hunt together. When we hunt, whether it’s turkey’s in the spring or deer in the fall, we attack it 100% and this trip was no different. We called it a “vacation” but it was far from it! Will fill you all in when I get my report done!

Thanks to you bro for everything….another great trip in the books and the plans are alredy in motion for the next trip out west!

After getting acclimated to the altitude the first day it wasn’t that bad. The terrain is what killed us. There was no gradual slope to the mountains where we were at, it was either straight up or straight down. If we decided to go up we literally had to grab brush and small trees to pull ourselves up the mountain.

Truth be told Gut…couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else but my brother. He was a life saver for me. I came down with a nasty migraine the first day of our hunt and by the second day I wasn’t doing any better and he drove me in to Cortez so I could get some relief. If it weren’t for him getting me into town the whole vacation would have been miserable.

They never do…I took 200+ pics of our Idaho trip, and they don’t even come close to telling the story.
