    plan on going back soon
    a very nice place to go is
    soaring eagle lodge
    not your typical “grundge Alaska” resort
    it’s in anchor point on the cook inlet
    good streams and rivers near by
    Homer is 30 mi so. Keni is 1hr north
    when we went the rental car with unlimited milage was included in the package

    My wife and I went to Alaska nearly five years ago. Did some fishing. We liked Southern Alaska, but just about anywhere up there is great.

    looking to go on a lope hunt next fall wyom.or sdak.public land any input on where to start or areas to look into can a guy get tags over the counter or do you have to send in.would be using smokepoles and or rifle. any info will help.
