I only did 3 miles on Saturday morning, yesterday was a rest day. I still finished my best week ever for mileage and pace. An increase in over 20% of mileage, and decreased my pace by around 12 seconds a mile.

I’ve started incorporating more hills, and speedwork into my runs. This is allowing me to recover faster, and I am definitely seeing the benefits of it.

7 miles in the rain this morning, with lots of hills, and a pace of 6:45

100 crunches and ball (medicine ball ) work after the run.

Boot camp starts tomorrow at the “Y”, 10 weeks of it. After that 1 week off, and then elk season opens.

Come on New Mexico. Games should be starting today, I am guessing! My CC page will get refreshed about 10,000 times over the next 4 days!

5+ miles and an hour of boot camp this morning.

Nobody has heard anything about New Mexico yet, hopefully today!

Spent an hour last night studying topos for Idaho.

Pretty sore/stiff from yesterday’s boot camp. So an easy 4 miles of pickup runs, followed by core work.

Shooting a round at the range tonight, and then some work on Idaho topo maps.

Guys getting hits on the CC from NM since early a.m, but nothing here yet. Not a good feeling.
