Hey guys, not sure where to post this since I dont see a minn kota forum. But I have a 2012 terrova currently but am going to upgrade. Do I gain any advantages to going to a 2016 model or is the new model far and away better to go to?
Just upgraded to a bluetooth model from a 2013.
Way better in spot lock, remote is awesome, auto pilot is a little wonkey at times, but fine.
Lift assist is great.

I just had to repair my 2007, when looking for parts I saw very little difference between 2007 and 2016.
Based on my knowlange, the 2012 is little to no difference from the 2016.
if you are looking to upgrade, get the new improved one.
Big difference between pre 2016 and blue tooth models. Spot Lock, lift assist for sure. The 2010 thru 2015 were the worst I think. I would buy new, it is worth the money. The new Spot Lock and jog feature are right on. Auto Pilot could use a little improvement.
