Minn kota Ulterra trim collar height

    How tall is the trim collar on the ulterra? Trying to figure out how much shaft length I would lose going to a ulterra. Does anyone have the riptide version in 54″ can the foot peddle be added to it?

    I’m not following. Ulterra has a power shaft. You can trim it up or down with the buttons.

    Was mentioned on another post a few days ago, 5″ – 6″, when I bought mine, I bought the same shaft length as my old motor which never had a problem with rough water. This motor comes out of the water more often due to the shaft length loss.

    Thanks, so probably 3″ bigger than the terrova collar if anyone has had both?

    The collar on the shaft that does the trimming. It only allows the motor to trim down so far trying to figure out how much you lose.

    The terrova has lift assist and I think you loose more with that
