This is the 11th Annual Governors’s Golf & Fishing Classic. June 8th is the golf tournament and the fishing tournament will be on the 9th. It will be on Milford Lake in Kansas. This event is put on by Kansas Wildscape Foundation. They are looking for guides for the fishing tournament. The guides volunteer their services, boat and tackle and also compete for prizes. Guides take soldiers from Fort Riley out fishing for the day. All competitors are provided breakfast and lunch during the tournament and they provide guides with several gifts. The big prize is $500 Cabelas Gift Card for the largest smallmouth. They also offer $100 Cabelas Gift Cards for other catagories for Walleye, Wipers and others. So it is a multi species tournament.
