Anybody in the metro willing to share how much ice they are seeing out there? I’m hoping to get out this week and can report back. I have seen quite a few people on east metro lakes and out on the St.Croix. What are folks seeing out there for thickness?

I would think any metro lake would be walkable (aside from any current areas or springs). I was out last week on a small metro lake under 6”

December 19, 2019 at 8:20 pm #18994534 to 6″ in the north metro on island lake. The snow areas have 1-2″ less ice.
Looks like ice making will shut down for the next week or so.
December 23, 2019 at 9:13 am #1900047I was out on a lake in the SW metro near Victoria yesterday. 8″ of pretty solid ice with a thin layer of snow on top.
