Just reaching out to anyone with a 2019 or newer Skeeter WX 2060 that has a Marine band radio mounted in the cutout storage box on the dash. I just purchased a used 2020, and I’m looking to install a radio in that location. I know there are radios that fit perfectly but I am unsure of what brands and models they are… I have heard the lowrance link 6 fits there, but it seems they’re out of stock… I do not have a preference as far as brand goes. A brand and model # would be great! Thanks

    I’ve had a New Horizon in my 2019 WX2200, and my 2023 WX2200. My son has a Cobra in his 2022 wx2060.
    Like my New Horizon.
Make sure to get a quick detach antenna and mount.
I was the 1st to do this at the boat center. When going over the rigging of my 2019 WX2200, I was sitting there with the radio I bought, and grabbed it and stuck it in the hole. Also they had not used a quick detach mount before. After seeing how easy what I wanted worked, they stocked a setup for future builds. Picture is my 2019, I can post my 2023 tomorrow.

    Standard Horizon, not new Horizon.
This is the one in my 2023, it’s nice as it came with the tabs to flush mount.

You may need a slight filler piece for the sides. Not sure with this new one, but the radio in my 2019 did.
I use the Shakesphere 8′ quick detach antenna and mount, about $175-$200 for those. Reception and talk 20 miles plus.
