I have a few rivets that are leaking water into my boat. They are on the underside of the hull midway back. Lund dealer says $500 per rivet to fix. Holy Tomatos!
Is there another way to fix that wont break the bank?

We had a rivet come out of our Lund and we used JB Weld as a temporary fix. That was 4 or 5 years ago and haven’t touched it since. Tad bit cheaper than $500 too I thought Lund had a lifetime warrenty on their hulls.

that’s only for the hull, the rivets were made by someone else in China.

$500 per rivet? Hard to believe but maybe $500 for the whole job. I would assume that they will have to take up at least the floor if not more to get at the rivets from the inside. I would give another dealer a call or call Lund direct.

    That estimate came from Lund.

You can use bull frog rivet and its aluminum boat hull repair kit to fix the rivets at very low prices.
