I just got and HDS7 in the mail, was wodering if it operated with internal GPS or if you needed to hook to the white GPS module. Any info would be great.

I believe they have an internal antennae. You can check Lowrance’s website to know for sure.

February 24, 2011 at 3:20 am #911695The HDS7 has an internal antenna ,I have a LMS520C indash and a HDS7 on the front of my boat they are linked together and they both use the internal antenna,or uses the 2000 antenna when HDS7 is off,with no degadation of postion either way.
