This is a “heads up” regarding the newly released Endura series heandhelds from Lowrance. People in the know have contacted In-Depth Outdoors to let us know that currently the Endura line DOES NOT have map chip capabilities regardless of map chip brand used. This means this handheld will not read your Lakemaster, Navionics or similar chip at this time. A software update is planned to resolve this issue. In-Depth Outdoors will try and let everyone know when units start shipping with this software update in place. Until that time if you’re looking for a handheld to work with your existing mapping chip you’ll likely want to consider the H20c or similar. We’re sharing this in the hopes that we can help everyone have a smooth and enjoyable experience should they be in the handheld market.
